Our Approach

Our Mission

Humanitarians in the Arts (HIA) is a 501 C3, non-profit organization, begun in (date), that offers our dynamic, diverse Austin community art shows, live music performances, and other cultural events that promote inclusion and intercultural understanding.

Our Story

Our Commitment to Our Future

Although HIA is aware of our much deserved reputation as the “Live Music Capitol of the World”, we also are aware that we have much work to do to include the diverse talent and participation our community members desire. Our community outreach, collaboration, and events are designed to be as inclusive and welcoming as possible. Our Board of Trustee members reflect ethnic, cultural and religious diversity as well as a range of skills and professional backgrounds in the music, art, and disability-inclusion fields.
